Marzipan, sometimes called Marzi, was Elliot Landry’s cream silver Maine Coon and a companion animal in the Keller-Landry household. Born approximately in July 2041, she was purchased from a breeder at sixteen weeks and given by Jacob Keller to Elliot for his birthday. She died in 2057 at age sixteen.

Overview

Marzipan first lived with Jacob and Elliot at the Park Laurel and later became part of the shared household represented by Jacob, Elliot, Ayana, and Ava. At the Mount Kisco home, her size, low purr, heavy landings, and habit of occupying inconvenient spaces became recurring parts of household life. She had no formal service or working role.

Physical Characteristics

Marzipan was a cream silver tabby with white paws, a pale ruff, tufted ears, and a full plume tail with a darker tip. She was unusually large for a female Maine Coon and weighed approximately seventeen pounds as an adult. Her long coat, broad chest, substantial paws, and length made her physically difficult to overlook when she occupied furniture or a path through the house.

Behavior and Communication

Marzipan was affectionate, social, confident, and vocal when she wanted attention. She communicated largely through proximity and occupation, settling near family members or placing herself on furniture and household objects in active use. At Mount Kisco, she repeatedly claimed piano benches, warm laundry, and routes through the house.

Care and Daily Routine

Marzipan’s long coat required regular home brushing and professional grooming. Elliot managed the grooming schedule, premium food, veterinary monitoring, and other routine care; her care later belonged to the wider household’s shared domestic responsibilities.
