Jordan Wells

Jordan Wells was a Black American student and basketball player from Baltimore. He was one of Logan Weston’s closest childhood friends, attended Edgewood High School, and captained its basketball team. After graduating in 2025, he enrolled at Georgetown University and joined its basketball program.

Early Life and Education

Jordan was born on September 12, 2006. He became friends with Logan, Malik Carter, Mason Brooks, and James Pennington in third grade at a gifted academy.

When Logan was twelve, he and Jordan were walking to the library when an officer stopped Logan, demanded his backpack, and searched it. Jordan tugged Logan’s backpack strap as a nonverbal warning not to move, then said, “Lo, just give it to him.”

Jordan attended Edgewood High School and graduated in spring 2025. He was six feet six inches tall, had a broad athletic build, and served as the school’s basketball captain. He joined Logan, Malik, Mason, and James on Logan’s February 2024 Caribbean birthday cruise. In fall 2025, he began college and basketball at Georgetown in Washington, D.C.

Personality and Communication

Jordan was attentive, considerate, and economical with words. When Jacob Keller needed to leave the school cafeteria after becoming ill, Jordan used his height to block other students’ stares. On another occasion, he immediately lowered the television when Logan needed quiet. His humor with close friends was dry and concise.

The looser register Jordan used with the Ride-or-Dies allowed for more teasing and energy than he showed during crises. He served as the group’s quiet observer and mediator, offering practical support in brief, direct language.
