Brianna Turnage

Brianna Turnage was born on June 14, 2002, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She was the second of Yvette Turnage’s four children and the eldest of three daughters raised in the multigenerational Turnage household.

Brianna grew up with her mother, grandmother Ivy, and siblings Malik, Aaliyah, and Trinity. Ivy held a central childcare role while Yvette, who had become a mother at thirteen, grew into adulthood.

Brianna was the sibling closest behind Malik in age and knew him before bipolar disorder substantially changed his life and the household’s routines.
