Mira Bellows

Mira Bellows was a former member of Camille DuPont’s social circle. After learning that six-year-old Clara Keller continued asking for Jacob Keller during their separation, Mira brought Clara to him at the Band House and preserved written group messages and voicemails relevant to the custody dispute. Nearly eight years later, she publicly defended Jacob after his tasing and challenged Camille’s circle’s treatment of him.

Association with Camille DuPont

Mira knew Jacob through her friendship with Camille. She eventually rejected the social circle’s account of Jacob and ended her alignment with the group when she intervened in Clara’s separation from him.

Mira was one of Camille’s dancer friends. Her profession was unspecified.

Clara’s Return

Before intervening, Mira asked Clara whether she missed her father and whether she was afraid of him. Clara answered, “No. I’m afraid for him. He gets sick and I help him.”

After Jacob’s psychiatric discharge, his chosen family brought him to the Band House because neither he nor the band wanted him to be alone. Mira brought Clara there because Clara had continued asking for her father. Clara ran to Jacob, sobbed, and repeatedly called him “Papa.” The reunion contradicted Camille’s claim that Clara did not want contact with Jacob.

Mira retained written message threads and voicemails documenting Camille’s treatment of Jacob and the social circle’s efforts to keep Clara from him. She testified during the custody proceedings and provided the saved material as evidence.

Later Public Statement

After videos of Jacob’s 2049 manic episode and tasing circulated publicly, Mira posted in his defense. She described the history of Camille’s social circle characterizing Jacob negatively and challenged the group’s later public sympathy.

The statement challenged Camille’s social circle’s later public sympathy for Jacob.
