Elliot Landry and Noah Jones
Elliot Landry and Noah Jones were chosen brothers whose relationship began in early childhood. They first met around 2006–2007, when Elliot was approximately three and Noah approximately two. Elliot became part of the Jones household’s regular daily life in 2008, after Candy Jones began caring for him while Jazmine Landry worked.
Childhood
Noah grew up sharing the household with Elliot and his older brother, Miles Jones. By 2008, Noah was approximately four, Elliot five, and Miles approximately seven. The boys shared meals, games, rest spaces, and the ordinary routines of the Jones home.
Noah and Miles were protective of Elliot when other children mocked his size, speech, or behavior. Noah’s bond with Elliot also included easy play and teasing. During one childhood afternoon, Noah offered Elliot the red fruit snacks first because they were Elliot’s favorite.
Dynamics and Communication
Noah could sit quietly with Elliot when speech was difficult and could also be blunt when someone targeted him. He recognized that Elliot sometimes needed food, rest, cooling, or quiet, and he participated in the same practical household routines as the rest of the family.
Their brotherhood did not depend on a biological relationship. Noah referred to and treated Elliot as his brother, and Elliot was included alongside Noah and Miles in the Jones family’s daily life and crises.
Shared History

Main article: Elliot’s P.E. Near-Heatstroke Crisis (Age 11)
In 2015, when both boys were eleven, Elliot became severely overheated and lost consciousness during physical education. Noah stayed beside him in the nurse’s office while he regained consciousness slowly. He told Elliot, “You don’t gotta talk yet. Just stay. Just be here.” Once Elliot was awake, Noah said, “Don’t scare me like that again… You’re too big to be fainting. I can’t catch you, dummy.”
