The Macon Street Apartment was the primary New York residence shared by Riley Mercer and Carmen Rivera. It was located in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, near Carmen’s main professional studio.

Occupancy and Domestic Use

Riley and Carmen used the apartment as their shared home while maintaining professional ties across New York City. Riley worked as a guitarist, sound designer, and composer with CRATB and later the Fifth Bar Collective. Carmen worked as a visual artist and graphic designer. Her nearby rented studio allowed the apartment to remain their domestic space rather than her primary production space.

The couple also used the Narragansett Cottage in Ocean Beach, San Diego, as their West Coast home.
