Without an audience
I played the beginning again because I liked the beginning.
The page stayed where it was. Nobody leaned forward to ask about the rest.
I let the last note go and listened until the room had finished with it.
Then I started again, slower this time. There was something in the second phrase I wanted to hear twice.
