Unlike the California-based Moore family connected to Heather Moore and the Matsudas, Andre’s Moore family is defined not by inherited institutional access or professional advocacy networks, but by ordinary working-family endurance: parents and sisters who loved him, were strained by the severity of his illness, and kept showing up even after the criminal-legal system translated his symptoms into a record.
